Uptrend Stocks

This blog will discuss about stocks in uptrend . I will look for stocks that are already in uptrend and stocks that just began an uptrend. I usually consider stock to be in uptrend only when the stock price is above its 50day moving average anf 200day moving average.

Ground rules:

Below are some ideal conditions the stock has to meet to be a perfect candidate for discussion on this site.

Stock price has to be above 200day moving avg. and 50day moving avg.
P/E should be less than forward P/E
P/E should be less than indistry P/E
P/S should be less industry P/S
PEG ratio should be less than 1
Beta should be greater than 1.5
EPS growth should be above 10%
Sales growth should be above 10%
Institutions should be buying
Insiders must be buying
No bad news about the company
Industry should be in uptrend
No major resistance on the chart

Even if a stock market is not upbeat, the stock that fits all the above conditions should tend to offer great resistance from falling down, unless the stock market is set for a total crash.
